Alcot Plastics is a leading producer of closed-cell, low-density polyethylene extruded foam located in Acton, Ontario, Canada.
Alcot Plastics was established in 1983 with the purpose of developing a simpler-faster-better foam extrusion system. Since we did not have any financial backing, we had to sell product while developing our system. Our first product was foam screen spline, for which there was an open market. As our knowledge and technology progressed, our product line grew and we now offer several different products.
In terms of composition, production, physical properties and performance, foam plastic products are almost always unique. To perfect this technique by providing consistency of quality, form or tolerances is an accomplishment that Alcot Plastics is most proud of.
